We praise God for the work that He is doing in the life of 11-year-old Eleazar Bermúdez. Eleazar is just one of many students at Oasis that come from a very broken home. He is the son of Sebastián López, who, alongside his parents, has been raising Eleazar ever since Eleazar’s mom left them 10 years ago. Through his involvement with Oasis de la Gracia and the church, Iglesia Bautista Gracia de Dios de Diriamba, Eleazar accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and continues to bear much spiritual fruit. He has become much more responsible in turning in assignments and his overall behavior has greatly improved. We believe this is evidence of the Holy Spirit working in his heart. When asked what he would do with $100, he said, he would give it to children who are hungry.
Eleazar would like to be a pediatrician one day. Next to playing with his little brothers and sisters, he enjoys playing his favorite sport, soccer. Check out the rest of Eleazar’s favorite things:
When asked how we can be praying for him, he said, “For his health, that God would give him his daily needs, for his family members that always support him.” Please join us as we lift Eleazar and his family up in prayer!
